Biography
Dr. Gomez is a dental hygiene educator and researcher focused on advancing the role of dental hygienists in interprofessional healthcare teams. She has published over 40 articles on periodontal risk assessment and the integration of dental hygiene into medical settings. She currently serves as president of the American Dental Hygienists' Association Research Council.
